This outstanding Pro-Cut commercial meat grinder KG-22-WXP is similar to the grinder model KG-22-W, which is another #22 model Pro-Cut makes but the "xp" stands for extra power: this grinder has a 2-horsepower motor versus the other model's 1-horsepower. (This grinder needs a 220V power connection, whereas the KG-22-W gets by on 110V.) Double the horsepower, double the foot-torque (this grinder has 58lb/ft), this kitchen workhorse can process 29.76 pounds of meat per minute. The tray on this grinder is 3.5 inches deep, 30.2 inches long by 16.1" wide, and is high-grade stainless steel. The motor cabinet is also stainless steel, and it houses a motor with a steel-gear transmission. A built-in safety guard keeps your hands out of the extra-wide feed throat. The robust head, which actually does the heavy work of processing, is heavy-duty cast iron. This grinder head works with standard #22 knives and plates.
