Solid and durable, mounted in the ground, the rust-proof cast aluminum construction of the grill provides a stable and reliable cooking platform. The gas fire ignites thanks to the included electronic ignition system; the fire heats the grill's porcelain briquettes via the stainless steel H-burners (the burners are so-called because, you guessed it, they're H-shaped. The end result is a clean, even, perfect-grilling heat. Total heat output is 30,000 B.T.U.s in an overall cooking area of 495 square inches. The cooking grid is stainless steel, composed of 5/16-inch rods, tightly spaced so smaller items won't fall through the cracks. This Jnr grill has a stainless steel side shelf to hold meats and utensils during grilling; the shelf folds down and away when you're not using it. This model Jnr grill comes with a sturdy "In-ground" style mount (product model MPP) that has a post made of anodized aluminum and a deck or patio base made of patented NuStone. The gas feed tubing in the post is stainless steel, as is the grease cup for the grill head. The post has a 4" diameter.
