Not What I Expected
I phoned Weston and asked what material the main tube was made of, and was told stainless steel. When it arrived, it had an aluminum tube, and the documentation with the jerky gun stated clearly that the main tube was aluminum. I was disappointed since I don't want to ingest anything that's been in contact with aluminum. The "stomper" is significantly shorter than the tube, so it's useless until the tube is at least half full. Other than that it seems to work.
