Each spindle has its own state-of-the-art 1.5Hp motor, each individually balanced and calibrated to minimize annoying vibrations (when you mix up a big batch of milkshakes you don't want to shake the house down. These three 1/3 horsepower motors are built to last and running this mixer couldn't be simpler: simply insert the stainless steel cup (included) and that starts the mixing motor; when you remove the cup the motor cuts out. The blender's three mixing speeds provide maximum blending control along with a great "pulse" button that lets you fine-tune your most demanding mix. This triple threat mixer rests on non-skid feet and this, along with a built-in stability brace mounted in the back of the blender, provide all the stability you need. The cup holder on the unit can be removed, making wipedown and cleanup a snap.
