The knife holder features Kapoosh's Freedom Rods in the woodgrain block instead of the typical pre-set slots you are used to seeing. Freedom Rods keeps your knives sharp inside the woodgrain block because the edges do not scrape knives like they do with typical slotted knife blocks.
