These excellent “pre-tubed” sausage casings from T.S.M. (model 21011) make it quick, simple and easy to attach your casings onto your stuffing tube. Simply soak the hog casings with the plastic still attached, then slide one end up and over your stuffing tube and then remove the plastic from the other end. These high-quality natural casings encase ground meat securely and the result is savory and delicious Sausages every time – and if you’re making smoked Sausage, these casings are Smoke-Permeable. This package will produce about 20 kilos of Sausage with a diameter of 32-35 mm. These casings ship in salt brine in a vacuum packed bag; the unopened box doesn’t require refrigeration. After the vacuum sealed bag has been opened the casings require refrigeration (the zipper bag is resealable) but they have a long shelf life of about a year. Note: This product can’t be shipped outside the U.S.; keep refrigerated; rinse before using.
