Skyfood's commercial 4-gallon electric blender (model LAR-15LMBE) is a high-volume blender ideal for large scale food processing. The seamless canister is stainless steel and has four reinforcing buttress ribs, making for a very strong container; the canister base itself is counterweighted so that it tilts, making product removal easy and mess-free. Powered by a rugged 1.5 Hp motor, mixing is attained via four blending blades (stainless steel) that rotate at a rate of 3500 R.P.M. (the blender's motor operates on 110V current. The result of all this powerful mixing is a churn generating approximately 14000 cuts per minute, producing the familiar "whirlpool" swirl effect that is a hallmark of a thoroughly-mixed batch.
