    For a manual kitchen tool, it is fast...sliced 6 pounds of venison roasts into jerky pieces in less than 15 minutes.

    Nice Affordable Slicer

    In the past I have struggled to get consistent thickness on my jerky when slicing by hand. Thought this would be slow, but actually worked very well and quickly laid waste to an arm roast i was slicing. My only comment is the knife itself. The box declares it as being extremely sharp; their definition and minemust be very different. Had to hit the sharpening steel to get a good edge on it. I'm hoping the knife will hold an edge longer than a few slices.
